2026 Chili Cookoff Winners!

On January 17th, 2026, the Crescent Heights Neighborhood Association brought the heat with another fantastic Chili Cookoff, and our taste buds are still thanking us. Big congratulations to Jane Gibbons, who took home the Chili win with her crowd-pleasing Jane’s Beer Chili with Pork & Beef, a rich, slow-simmered recipe packed with bold spices, tender beef and pork, hearty beans, and just the right kick. The perfect partner to that winning chili was this year’s Cornbread champ, Tom Camphire, whose Blue Corn Cornbread impressed judges with its moist texture, subtle sweetness, and classic comfort. Thanks to everyone who cooked, tasted, voted, and came out to share good food and good company. This is what Crescent Heights does best.
