History of Crescent Heights
Crescent Heights is a neighborhood in St. Petersburg, Florida
It all began as an orange grove in the 1920s. On 27th Avenue N, it is reported that there is a fruit-loading chute angled from the second story of a garage. Crescent Lake Apartments, 605 24th Ave. N., were once home to baseball greats such as Babe Ruth. On Seventh Street N, Mrs. Mueller, of Mueller Macaroni, built her winter home for herself.

Crescent Heights was built of a 40 year period beginning in the early 1920’s.
