Chili Cookoff Winners!

On January 20, 2024, our neighborhood came together once again for Kevin Mort’s much-anticipated Annual Chili and Cornbread Cook-off. This beloved event not only brings warmth to our winter but also marks the beginning of this year’s series of Porch Parties.

This year, the coveted title of Best Chili was awarded to Andy Klein, who wowed us all with his exceptional chili recipe. In the cornbread category, Lauren Lorenzen took the top honors, impressing everyone with her delicious and comforting cornbread. Both chefs have generously agreed to share their winning recipes, so stay tuned to bring a taste of this year’s cook-off into your own kitchen.
